Kourtney Kardashian’s son Reign Disick, 10, breaks silence over rumor that Justin Bieber is his real dad
Reign Disick has addressed a longstanding rumor that his biological father is Justin Bieber.
The 10-year-old son of Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick took to Instagram Live this week to personally shut down wild speculation that pop star Justin Bieber is actually his biological father.
The Origin Of The Rumor
While the rumor may seem absurd, it’s been circulating online for years, largely fueled by Bieber’s longtime connection to the Kardashian-Jenner clan.
The Canadian singer, now 31, has been close with the family and is particularly tight with Kendall Jenner. He was also romantically linked to Kourtney following her 2015 split from Scott Disick.
Multiple sources told PEOPLE in 2016 that Bieber and Kourtney had “hooked up a few times,” noting they were seen together after his Purpose tour stop in Los Angeles. “He has met her kids, but they don’t hook up around the kids,” the source explained. “It happens in L.A.”
At the time, Bieber was 22 and Kourtney was 36. “Kourtney is great. Justin thinks it’s cool that she is older and hot. She isn’t clingy and has her own life,” the insider added.
“There are no bad consequences for Justin to hook up with her. She is very easy going and just makes it fun for him to be around her.”

Sadly, Scott’s Instagram posts – especially the ones featuring Reign – are often flooded with comments addressing the rumor. “That looks like Justin Bieber‘s twin,” one person wrote on a post showing Reign taking a selfie. Meanwhile, another comment read: “Mini JB”.
“Wow he looks like Justin when he was little,” a third wrote.
Reign Sets The Record Straight
Reign – who was born in 2014 – appeared unbothered when the rumor was brought up during a recent live stream, but clearly wanted to set the record straight.
“Bro, I swear, Justin Bieber’s not my dad,” Reign said during a live stream with stepsister Alabama Barker’s boyfriend, Scooter Jackson. “I don’t know how old my mom was, but I think Justin Bieber was 16 when I got born. I don’t think my mom would do that.”
Reign doubled down, adding, per E! News: “Scotty… Scotty… Scotty is my dad.”
Despite their past flings and public sightings, there’s never been any indication that Bieber had ANY paternal role in Reign’s life.
A Family In The Spotlight
The youngest of Kourtney and Scott’s three children, Reign shares the spotlight with siblings Mason, 15, and Penelope, 12.
Kourtney also shares a fourth child, Rocky, with her husband Travis Barker.
Just last year, Kardashian Barker noted the similarities between Reign and his father. In an episode of The Kardashians, while visiting Australia with Travis for a Blink-182 tour, Kourtney watched Reign goofing off and said in a confessional: “I don’t know where he gets a sense of humor. He’s like a Jim Carrey.”
“I’m starting to get a lot of vibes, like his dad,” she added. “I think he’s starting to get that sense of humor. I’m like, just what we need.”
Scott Disick, 41, also seems to enjoy his younger son’s quirks.
In January 2024, he posted a series of photos with Reign, including a snapshot of the 10-year-old at dinner wearing a large fuzzy hat and holding a phone. “I will call him rayman the king of the wild,” Disick captioned the post.
Another post shows Reign drinking a milkshake, with the caption: “California dreamin”.
Another Rumor Shut Down
Reign’s clapback isn’t the first time a Kardashian kid has had to deal with viral conspiracy theories.
Just last month, his older brother Mason became the subject of another baseless internet rumor — that he had secretly become a father.
Kourtney immediately stepped in to defend her son and slam the false claims.
“I rarely address rumors or conspiracies regarding myself or my family, but this is about my child and it feels wrong to let anyone think for a second that these lies are remotely true,” she wrote on Instagram Stories on March 2. “They are not. Mason does not have a child. These accounts that pretend to be him are definitely not. They are FAKE.”
She added a strong message to those fueling the speculation: “My son really values his privacy, and I am asking all media to please be respectful: he is a kid with feelings and a beautiful life ahead of him. Please stop spreading false narratives and spinning lies.”
“And to all the other people making videos about my kids (who, by the way, are minors), please stop and leave them alone.”
For a family used to life in the spotlight, the Kardashian-Disick kids are now learning to handle the rumors themselves — with Reign leading the charge.
